Comments: Produced to celebrate the 1000th anniversary of the unprecedented folk epic "Manas." Manas is called the father of the Kyrgyz people. Many Kyrgyz believers feel that Manas has some demonic influence, but there are also many redemptive analogies there too. It was funded by UNESCO and tells the story of the Kyrgyz people and their ancient hero Manas. It was filmed in the moutainous land of Kyrgystan and captures their ancient culture and customs and the beautiful country in which they live. English sound track.
