Churches, agencies, and individuals making a commitment to adoption may find it particularly
helpful to attend a training seminar with those who have experienced successful adoptions.

advocate

Advocate Training Seminar by Caleb<>
Project is for those with a vision for mobilizing prayer
and resources for a specific unreached people group! Learn more about people-specific
advocacy. Learn how to form partnership coalitions and how to help churches
adopt a people group. Discover the complexities missionaries face in the
10/40 window. You will hear the testimonies of advocates present as well
as others by video. Come away from this time with practical and specific
plans!

Strategy Coordinator Training by International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. This three to four week workshop takes particpants through the process of identifying a target, researching that focus, determining ministry options and preparing a strategy. Contact:

YWAM England, Several programs train individuals into full-time advocacy roles based on the model of the NRM (Non-Resident Missionary) strategy as well as training for YWAM strategy coordinators. Contact:

Coordinated Strategies International, Strategy Coordinator training conducted in numerous international sites and available in English, Korean and Portuguese. Training is 4-weeks long with approximately nine sessions taught per year. Contact:
Facilitator Training
Partnership Facilitator Training Course is designed for
those who want to explore or develop a partnership
approach to ministry. For people group
advocates, mission agency leaders, denominational
leaders, pastors, who want to develop a strategy to reach people for Christ
and plant the church in cooperation with others.
The course covers biblical principles of partnership, partnership definitions,
evangelism strategies, exploring, forming and operating partnerships, funding
strategies for partnerships, and managing conflict. It includes a
guided project of planning for a long-range strategy to reach a people
group or area in partnership with other ministries.
Interdev offers 6-8 Partnership Facilitator Training courses a year in

Other
BrigadaFest held each February in Kentucky, is co-sponsored by Southeast Christian
Church and several missions agencies/networks, including Antioch Network, Interdev, Caleb Project,
Team Expansion, and Brigada. Key components include: a venue for unreached people networks to hold
their annual meetings; speakes and training in such aspects as prayer, adoption, mobilization,
networking, advocacy and partnership; resource materials; and opportunity for advice and consultation.
